E-News: Ujima Event Sunday! + Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Join us on Sunday, July 12th, as we activate the Gail V. Wells Food Forest with a performance by Ujima! Don’t miss the final stop on the public tour – PLUS, sample our first harvest of fresh blueberries!

“Yalla Bitch” is a bold and provocative play written by the founder of Ujima Company, Lorna C. Hill. It is described as “a fierce exploration of power, agency, and the voices of Black women.” Buffalo Freedom Gardens is proud to be hosting the final stop on Ujima’s free public tour, staged at gardens across Buffalo.

The performance is taking place on Sunday, July 12th @ 6pm with a runtime of 1.5 hours (including intermission). Bring a seat or a blanket and enjoy!

See the Ujima Company website to reserve FREE TICKETS. We hope to see you there!
